Is this site free? Who funds this site?
All basic features of I Test You site are free. We are self funded and rely on advertising and your donations.
How does this site work? Do you use any open source software?
Each challenge is written in our own Lisp-like domain specific language. This language supports visual page design, image generation, math logic, equation solving and has a computer algebra system. The challenges have many variations that look similar, but are different. There are millions of unique challenge variations in I Test You.
We use a lot of Open Source software. The web site runs on a variant of MediaWiki free wiki created with PHP. The core engine is implemented in Java with components from Apache Software Foundation.
Why is this web site in beta?
We are in beta until we complete all major features of the system. So far we have basics up and running, but expect more, much more...
Is Mathematics the only subject that you plan to cover?
Oh no...
What browsers are supported? Do I need Adobe Flash installed?
